In this tutorial we will show you how to connect your Youtube account to EventWally. With this you and your audience will see all your Youtube videos on one screen. There are several options for Youtube on EventWally, which are:

  1. Display your own videos and playlists
  2. Display any other Youtube video on EventWally
  3. Display the stats or thumbnails of any Youtube video on EventWally

Log in to EventWally.

Add the app

  • Click the "Add Content" (1) button to add your app. The following screen appears:

This screen shows all the available apps in EventWally. For now, we want to have Youtube on our wall. For instruction on installing other apps than Youtube stop reading this topic, and follow this link.

  • Select the Youtube app (1) by clicking it. 

  • Connect the Youtube application to EventWally by clicking the green ADD THIS APP button (1) 


Display Youtube on EventWally

You can decide which kind of content you want to show on your EventWally. For an explanation all the Youtube features in SocialWally, please check the Youtube App page on EventWally.com

 

 

Option 1: Show a playlist

  • Select the playlist option in the dropdown menu (1)
  • Type or just paste the playlist url of the playlist you want to show (2)
  • If you don’t want to include the video music on your EventWally, select the MUTE box (3)
  • Select SAVE SETTINGS

 

Option 2: Show a single video

  • Select the video option in the dropdown menu (1)
  • Type or just paste the video url of the playlist you want to show (2)
  • If you don’t want to include the video music on your EventWally, select the MUTE box (3)
  • Select SAVE SETTINGS

 

Option 3: Show the stats of a video or user

  • Select the stats option in the dropdown menu (1)
  • Select the user or video option in the second dropdown menu (2)
  • Type or just paste the video or user url of the content you want to show the stats of (3)
  • Select SAVE SETTINGS

 

Option 4: Show thumbnails of a playlist or video

  • Select the thumbs option in the dropdown menu (1)
  • Select the playlist or video option In the second dropdown menu (2)
  • Type or just paste the video or playlist url of the content you want to show thumbnails of (3)
  • Select the SHOW SLIDESHOW TEXT box if you want to include slideshow text (4)
  • Select the duration of every separate thumbnail (5)
  • Select SAVE SETTINGS

 

Change the looks of your EventWally feed

 

  • Click CUSTOMIZE (1) if you wish to change the looks of your Youtube block
  • Select a color for the background (2)
  • Select a color for the text (3)
  • To restore the default colors (original Youtube colors), click the RESET TO DEFAULT COLORS button (4)
  • Click the CREATE BLOCK button (5) to save your color settings

 

  • You can place the block wherever you want it to be on the screen. 
  • You can edit your block settings again by clicking the small radar (1) on the left corner of the Youtube block
  • Enlarge your block (2) by dragging and dropping
  • Add new block by clicking on a '+' (3).
  • In order to delete a block, click the 'X' (4).
  • Click PREVIEW (5) to view the result of your settings

 

  • Check if you are satisfied with the looks of your EventWally (1). 
  • Click PUBLISH (2) to make your screen visible to your audience. 

 

  • You will now get an access code (1) to view this screen whenever and wherever you want.
    Go to viewwally.com
     and enter your code to display your EventWally to your audience.
  • You can also click one of the OPEN VIEWWALLY buttons (2)
